Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the Posi app and this website, tryposi.com. By using either, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Posi.

1. Using Posi

Posi is free to download, and you can use every pose and feature for your first photo, with 3 Find my pose searches a day until then. After that, taking photos and Find my pose come with Posi Pro, a purchase in the app (see section 2); you can still browse the poses and see your Saved photos. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for as long as you follow these terms. Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the app store you downloaded it from.

2. Posi Pro

  • Posi Pro lets you take as many photos as you like, with every pose and your own photos as guides, edit your photos with looks and adjustments, and use Find my pose with no daily limit. The app shows what’s included, the price and, for a subscription, how often you’ll be charged before you buy.
  • You buy Posi Pro through the App Store or Google Play, and Apple or Google takes the payment under their terms.
  • A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and you’re charged again, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can cancel or manage it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions, or from Manage subscription in Posi’s Settings. If you cancel, you keep Posi Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • If the price changes, Apple or Google will tell you before the new price applies.
  • To use Posi Pro on a new phone, sign in to the same App Store or Google Play account and tap Restore purchases in Settings.
  • If Posi Pro ends, your photos stay on your phone and you can still browse the poses, but taking photos and Find my pose need Posi Pro again.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, so please ask them. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

3. Your photos

The photos you take with Posi are yours. The app doesn’t upload them anywhere, and we claim no rights over them.

You’re responsible for what you photograph and share. Please respect other people’s privacy and rights, only use photos you’re allowed to use as guides, and don’t use Posi for anything unlawful.

4. Keep copies of photos you care about

Photos in Saved exist only on your phone. If you delete them, uninstall the app, or lose or reset your phone, they may be gone for good. We hold no copy and can’t recover them. Turn on Save to Photos, or save the ones you want to keep to another backup.

5. Poses and safety

The poses and tips are suggestions. Only try a pose if you can do it safely where you are: take care with jumps, lifts and anything on a wall, step or ledge, and keep an eye on traffic, water and edges while you line up a shot.

Find my pose’s suggestions, and the reasons given for them, are chosen and written by an AI model, so they can be wrong or not suit you. Use your own judgement, as with any pose. Don’t put anything unlawful, or other people’s personal details, in a search, and don’t use automated tools to make searches or get around the daily limit. We may limit how many searches can be made, or pause Find my pose, to keep it working for everyone.

6. Our app and content

The Posi name, logo, pose illustrations, design and code belong to us. You may not copy, modify, sell or distribute the app, or reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows you to.

7. Changes and availability

We may update, change or stop offering the app or this website at any time. We’ll try to keep Posi working well, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.

8. Liability

Posi is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss of photos or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the app or this website.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Posi handles your information. In short, your photos stay on your phone, and the app only goes online to check or buy Posi Pro.

10. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will deal with any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep any protections that the consumer laws where you live give you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Posi after a change, the updated terms apply.
