Help

How can we help?

Quick answers about poses, Find my pose, the camera guide, the timer, Saved and Posi Pro.

Using Posi

Pick a pose

Open the Pose tab and browse by who’s in the shot, or search for what you need, like sitting, walking or wedding. Tap a pose to see its tips, then tap Use this pose. Tap the heart to keep it in Saved.

Find poses for your shot

On the Pose tab, tap Find my pose. Say who’s in the photo and, if you like, where you are, the kind of shot and a mood or two, then tap Find poses. Posi suggests up to 6 poses and says why each one suits your shot. Until you’ve taken your free photo you get 3 searches a day; after that Find my pose comes with Posi Pro, with as many as you like.

Line up with the guide

On the Camera tab, the pose sits over the picture as a see-through outline. Tap Guide to change its opacity, flip it, hide it, or move and resize it: drag to move, pinch to resize.

Choose the shape and the light

Tap the shape button at the top of the camera for Full screen, 3:4, Square 1:1 or Story 9:16: the camera shows the frame and the photo is cut to it. On the back camera the flash button also has Torch, a light that stays on, and iPhones with more than one lens show .5×, 1× and Tele above the guide. On the front camera, the light button turns on the ring light: the screen glows round the picture in warm, white or pink, turned up to full brightness.

Use the timer

Tap the timer button at the top of the camera and choose 3 or 10 seconds. Prop up your phone, tap the shutter and step into the outline. The pose’s tips show on screen while it counts down, and the photo is taken at zero.

Edit your photos

With Posi Pro, open a photo in Saved and tap the edit button. Pick a look, such as Golden, Soft film or Noir, and set its strength, or adjust brightness, contrast, saturation and warmth. Hold the photo to see the original. Posi keeps the photo as you took it, so you can change the edit later or choose Revert to Original.

Find your photos

Every photo you take is in the Saved tab, with the poses you’ve hearted. With Save to Photos on in Settings, each photo is also added to your Photos app as you take it.

Use your own photo as a guide

Tap Guide on the camera, then Use your own photo, and pick any photo you’d like to recreate. To reuse one you took with Posi, open it in Saved and choose Line Up With This Photo.

Troubleshooting

The camera screen is black or asks for access

Posi needs camera access to show the guide over your shot. If you said no earlier, tap Open Settings on the camera screen, or find Posi in your phone’s Settings, and turn on Camera.

Posi Pro isn’t unlocked on my new phone

Sign in to the same App Store or Google Play account you bought it with, then open Settings in Posi and tap Restore purchases.

Cancelling Posi Pro

Open Settings in Posi and tap Manage subscription, or go to the subscriptions in your Apple account or Google Play settings. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

“Find my pose is busy” or “You’re offline”

Find my pose needs the internet. Check your connection, then try again. If it says it’s busy, lots of people are searching at once, so try again in a little while. Searches that don’t find poses don’t count towards your free ones.

Deleting photos

Delete a single photo from Saved, or all of them with Delete All Photos in Settings. Copies in your Photos app stay there. See the Privacy Policy for everything Posi keeps.

Questions

Is Posi free?
Posi is free to download, and you can try all of it for your first photo: all 220 poses, the camera guide and timer, your own photos as guides, and Find my pose (3 searches a day). After that, taking photos and Find my pose need Posi Pro. Looks and edits for your photos also come with Posi Pro. You can still browse every pose and see your Saved photos without it.
How does Find my pose work?
Say who's in the photo and, if you like, where you are, the kind of shot and a mood or two, or add a note. Posi sends your answers to its server, which asks OpenAI's AI model to pick up to 6 poses from Posi's library and say why each one suits your shot. Posi asks before your first search, and never sends photos.
Does Posi upload my photos?
No. There's no account and no server for your photos. They stay in Posi on your phone, and in your Photos app too if you turn on Save to Photos. Find my pose sends only your answers and note, never photos.
Does Posi check my pose?
No. Posi doesn't watch or score you. The guide is a see-through outline for you to line up with, and the timer takes the photo when it reaches zero.
Can I take photos of myself with it?
Yes. Prop up your phone, set the 3 or 10-second timer and step into the outline. The pose's tips show on screen while it counts down.
Which phones does Posi work on?
iPhones with iOS 17 or later, and Android phones.
How do I cancel Posi Pro?
Posi Pro is managed by the App Store or Google Play. In Posi, open Settings and tap Manage subscription, or go to the subscriptions in your Apple account or Google Play settings. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for.
